A Late Night Treat

So the babies are leaving tomorrow...It's so sad that they are going but I have to remember they have been away from home for almost 6 weeks. That's a long time.

As a last hurrah Eric and I headed over to my parents' house to kidnap everyone who was still awake last night around 7:30pm. Without telling them where we were going we piled Emily, Henry, Lucy, and Peter into the mini-van and headed to our favorite ice cream stand in Carlisle--Kimball Farms.

We got the Kimball Special for a whopping $6.50 and everyone had more ice cream than they could handle.

Strawberry, Cookie Dough, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and nuts.
Dude.

The only downside to Kimball's is they don't have a restroom.
Just this lovely port-a-potty.
As we neared the bottom of our ice cream trough Petey said he needed to use the facilities--until he got to the facilities. His conversation with Henry went as follows:

P: That's so stinky
H: Yeah. Get in that stinking port-a-potty
P: There's NO WAY I'm going into that stinking port-a-potty
(ha ha ha)

He quickly decided he no longer needed to go to the bathroom. Later he was very relieved when Uncle Eric offered to teach him how to "pee on a tree"--which he then yelled across the crowded lawn to Henry. Don't know if that's legal but it's definitely a plus in the "reasons to be a boy" column.
