Claire-Baby and our thrifty purchases

Hearing Claire laugh is music to my ears. It is my #1 goal and I think Eric would agree with me 100%.

In the video you can see the newest addition to Claire's loot. An Exersaucer. This thing is amazing. The first time we put her in it she put her little feet down and jerked her head back, over-stimulated and intimidated by all the toys and colors within her reach. Let's just say she has overcome her fears. Her current favorite thing to do is to jump up and down making quite a racket. The best thing about this find was that it was free. We have this awesome mom's email list in Belmont and a lady got on there saying that she was getting rid of this (probably because it's H-U-G-E and did anyone want it. We had thought about buying one so it was quite fortuitous if I dare say so. It's a huge success.

We have had some other really great finds:

Uggs (I think she'll grow into them. Eventually.) There is a great Children's Consignment shop in Belmont called Growing Up. You can find almost anything here--and many things still have the tags on them. Crazy.

A Bumbo Chair
Doesn't she look so professional here?
Getting Ready to Skype.
An Ikea high chair. Love Love. You can take it apart to store it and you can throw the whole thing in the tub to clean it. (So it was already cheap because it was from Ikea and I got it from someone who was getting rid of it for $8...)
Claire's new favorite toys while I'm working in the kitchen: carrots, celery, and green beans.

A Bob Running Stroller off Craigslist.
I love not having to worry about if it gets mud on it of that it will get stolen out of our entryway..

And last, but not least, a Jumperoo.
This picture doesn't do the Jumperoo justice. It is her favorite.
Now that she's learned how to throw her weight around and catch air, we'll have to take a video.
