Charlestown and Bunker Hill

So, once upon a time I planned this awesome date where I met up with Eric post work or school or something and we went to the Warren Tavern and wandered around Charlestown and Bunker Hill. It was amazing...too bad Eric had a horrible sore throat (which he now denies) and it was bitter cold because it was sometime in January or February of 2011 (which was definitely not as pleasant as this year's mild winter).

This weekend we decided to repeat the excursion, using the excuse that Haley needed some photos for her mom of a house of some relatives...Like I said, it was an excuse for visiting Bunker Hill for the second time.

When I think of Boston I think of streets like these or like those on Beacon Hill. I love how the houses are so close together. It feels old and strangely clean. Rumor has it that it isn't super safe and that if you live there your car gets vandalized at night, that is if you can actually find a parking place (and if you can find your car after finding a parking place).

Definitely a must visit. Eric, like always, ordered the better meal--a lobster roll. I can't remember what I had but it definitely didn't look as good as his. Must have been the roll...
