Valentine's Day 2014

Valentine's was a great day. I can see how the older Claire gets the more exciting holidays are going to be. As it was, Eric showered us with flowers. Claire got a pink soccer ball (awesome). And one of her little friends gave her her first Valentine along with a red balloon--her first and definitely not her last.

Why is she smiling you may ask?

Eric and I decided to stay in so we made dinner and watched the oh-so-romatic Hunt For Red October (which I had never seen).  It was good but may not have lived up to all the hype that preceded it.

And it's a good thing that Sean Connery didn't end up being a bad guy. Just sayin'.

Definitely staged and she is not happy about it.

Love the eyes. It's like she's saying "How have I never played with one of these before?"

I love how curious she is with her little finger leading the way...
